I would do the Eclispe because you get the awesome sound and is 5volt pre-outs, which is nice to have, but not needed, just can keep the gains on the amps down.
For amps, like they said Audioque is good, or an Autotek Mean machine is nice, for your budget, there are plenty of things you can do. I wouldn't go much past 2000rms though as the X's can be finiky with that kind of power. Of course you won't get that power out your amps till you upgrade your alty. I say for 2000rms, at least 180amp alty and 1 2400 under the hood and 1400 kinetik or something similar in the trunk with big 3 done and viola, you be bangin'!
That is some chedder though. Off the top of my head a decent alty looking at over 300, amp 300 plus, DD HU 700 plus, kinetiks together around 400, so well over 1500 smacks for all that, but will get you were you want to be.
