If I could get 20ft of 1/0 for 30$ that would be great lol. But I don't have a budget put together yet.

seriously though, about 1500w and a 15" xxx were enough to brake my buddies sunroof. he says he will never buy another car with a sunroof if its getting a system. and after riding around in it for the last couple years, he's convinced me as well.

louder? obviously you've had experience that it is. but to me, thats just not worth it. i guess if i competed for cash or something

RE SE 15" and a, PA 3000d. Would like to upgrade the amp, but we'll see how that goes, depending on how many hours I can get.

You can get 20 feet of KNU klm for about $35 plus shipping, that will give you about 15 feet for power and 5 feet for ground which is perfect. Normally i wouldn't suggest anything but KNU fleks but your on a tight budget.

if you do decide to go the older style i've got a box. 3.5 cubes @ 30hz. double front baffle. it needs one more coat of paint but other than that its in good shape. i'd sell it for 50 bucks

lol. my sunroof doesnt work either //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. the only thing bad with them is on lower notes they make a lot of noise.

Hmm, Are wiring harnesses jsut vehicle specific? Not HU specific?

That's correct. You just need one for your explorer, it plugs into the factory wireing harness and converts all the wires to what you need for an aftermarket radio.
