Help with enclosure

I'm building my first ever box, 2.25 cubes tuned to 31 hz. And somewhere I went wrong with a cut or measure and the long side of my vent port is almost 4 inches away from the wall, while the side that's shorter is 2.5 inches away like it's supposed to be //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif. Will this just result in a higher tune or will it make weird noises or something?

It will alter the tuning..normally raising it a good amount. We would need to know how long each port is that are different widths to give you an accurate idea of your tuning. I would imagine it would be time to build a new enclosure and measure twice then cut once.

And it's actually supposed to be tune to 30hz, not 31. How bad will that screw up mess with the tuning? I can live with 5-6 hz difference

When I get back from the shop I will hop on a computer and check it out(on my phone again). I would guess that you will have a much higher hz then 35hz though. I would bet closer to 40 or so.

It will be very peaky at higher hz levels...my guess is you won't like it, already built it though...might as well try it out.

So what is it going to be tuned at now? It's like 3.5 inches from the wall on the long side, and the normal 2.5 inches from the wall on the small side.
