Help with Eclipse's E-iSERV

alright, im trying to register my newly acquired cd5000 on there E-iSERV system, so i can download teh program to do the custom audio adjustments and the custom wallpaper stuff....but i am running into problems with the registration key....it requires a 16 digit key which is supposed to come up on the deck wen its in standby if u press certain buttons...i only get an 8 digit code when i do this.....so i assumed the other 8 digits are the one in the user manual that are under serial number, with a barcode below. so i tried putting the deck 8 digit code along with the other 8 digits in the manual from the warranty page, and no luck, says code unrecognized.

so is anyone familiar with the E-iSERV registration process, and where the 16 digits come from...any input would be greatly appreciated.

I can't remember the process, but all 16 should be on the deck. The display might only do 8 digits at a time so either wait and see if it displays them after 10 seconds or so, if not then hit the button sequence again to reveal the second set.

As I look it up in my CD8455 manual it states to, while in standby, press and hold the disp button for more then one second, the first 8 digits will appear then hold down disp again for more then one second and the other 8 digits will be displayed.

There you go. If you think that's confusing, wait until you get on the E-iServe and register.

As I look back to the time that OP posted this, April 10th, I'm thinking he figured it out.
