Help with dip in my rta

its pretty widely accepted that we can hear 20-20khz. typically not many instruments play that high if any honestly but its nice to have a flat response for the few times you do hear it.

this is a lil test i just found. if your speakers are capable id bet you can hear it..

anyways. quick way to help you out.

cut the tweeters off measure the response of the mids do the same for the mids with the current crossover configuration

with the crossover defeted on the mid and with tweeter off measure. measure FR

set the crossover substanturally lower for the tweeter and retest it with the mids off

then set your crossover flat on the mid and much lower on the tweeter play it. if its comb filtering you will see and similar dip in rf with the crossover overlapping.

hispl is correct as well. sometimes certain matrials have high absorption and some cabin shapes themselves cause cancellation as well.

if it is beaming that easy place the mid at the edge of the driver measure then place it in the very center and remeasure
