Well the problem going from a D3 to a D6 is going to be the cost to power them. D6's are power hungry little bastards. They sound great but they really want at least 700w each. If you think 2 12's is too loud, maybe try just one ported or sealed and upgrade from there?

Since we're on the subject of Diamond woofers, can anyone give some comparisons with the D3 and D6 lines. I already know that the D9/TDX is their high end competitor but I've always been curious about how the D6s stack up to other woofers.
