Help With Crimping Questions

If your going to the expense of buying a crimper - why not just use these
how much are those?

and yes I do like the idea of being able to take apart and put back if need be //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif\

but i will just crimp though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif ....Have access to a crimper I can borrow

I use T-Spec ends on short wires I know I will need to swap later.
what do you guys use to strip some rubber of the wire for crimping? Just a regular wire stripper large enough? I have some methods I've used some time before I had good crimpers, I've used a box cutter just being careful to just cut the rubber enough to remove it but not cut any copper. I believe in using what I have to get the job done if I can. On the other hand though I like to get things also to make life easier //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif and mostly that I will use often though

Hack saw actually works great for wire, lol.

Try it and let me know.
Not saying it's the best way, but it works for me!
yeah I'm sure it would be better than a box cutter or even the small wire strippers I have //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

the dikes I have should actually cut the wire pretty easily though. Could also gently go around the sleeve to remove i guess

wait i think you think i meant cutting the wire. I meant strip

I do that to cut the wire, then to strip some insulation off. Works for both actually
