Hey,

I have an old kicker comp(before the redesign in 2010 i believe), and i think it's rated at 150w rms and 300w total @ 4 ohms. I was just wondering what amp I should get.. Its my first sub so yeah //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. I was looking at this

Pioneer GM-D7400M Mono subwoofer amplifier 400 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms at Crutchfield.com

But will around 200w rms be too much?, or can i just set the gain to lower so I dont burn the sub?

Thanks in advice!

Not at all, amplifiers have gain control to attenuate the output to safe levels.
