Help with choosing new 6.5 comps

Ok I've got a 3 way setup right now with 6.5 MB quart 5.25 ads and tweeters with MB quart Music comp x-overs all about 8yrs old. I need to replace the tweeters and one of the 6.5 midbass. I was thinking about CDT or Image Dynamics to replace the tweets and midbass. Would it be a good Idea to run a different brand speaker off the MB Quart X-overs?

I think you should just get a new set, if you really thought it was worth it you could probably run the midrange seperate anyways

I was planning on getting a new 6.5 comp set but was wondering if it would matter if I didn't get MB Quart speakers even though I will be using a MB Quart X-over.

Dont mix speakers and crossovers unless you really know what you're doing
