help with capacitor

hi everyone i need your help i'm new at this stuff so i want to know how to install a capacitor i have an mtx 1501d amp, a stinger capacitor, and a fused distribution with 1/0 gauge input and two 4 gauge outputs , sorry i also have and amp alpine for the sets of speakers also my power wire is 1/0 gauge. my question is if i have to buy another fused holder with 3 outputs for the capacitor or the one i have is good enough because i don't know if the capacitor is wired before the fused distribution or after can you explain me???

I would just run it inline with the 1501. Buy (4) 4 gauge rings. Run your power in and out of the positive terminal on your cap to the 1501 and of course, the same with the ground. Your 1501 is the amp that will be asking for capacitance anyway. Hope that helped ya.

I have 2 subwoofer pioneer TS-W2000SPL and amplifier BOSS PD-4000. Do i need a capacitor?

If your lights dims with the BIG bass notes, I say get one, but that is ONLY a "band-aid" for the problem. This is what I did and I had gone through 3 batteries, two Die Hard Gold and one Optima Red top. I now have an Optima Yellow top. Make sure when buying a battery, it is for the right application.

NOW, to "heal the wound," (lol) redo your charging system. Get an H.O. alternator.
