Help with box for fi ssd 18's

I'm gonna build a 20 cubic ft. box for two ssd 18's and I want to port it to 33hz. Is it ok for me to use 4 round ports 6x9.5 in. I used the calculators on the 12volt.com, but i'm not very experienced with calculations.

Why so large? Doesnt FI recommend something around 6 to 8 cubic feet per sub? The only plus with a larger box is the reduction in power handling.
