Help with Battery in trunk :)

Hey everyone, i was wondering do you think it would help my dimming issue to throw my yellow top in the trunk and run the noral lead up front. the alt i have is 130 amps (90 is stock) and i just want to crank this aq1200+hdc3 setup. please dont bash either im a n00b //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If you get the 2nd battery, you can run 1200 rms flawlessly. Even have room for upgrade for more power.

its 4awg right now. i dont know if i have enough 0/1 to do it =P and i couldnt find ring terminals for 0/1 and i wasnt sure about how big of a fuse on the 0/1 so i did the 4. i know now yorue going to tell me to update that first //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. what size fuse should i use? and where can i get ring terminals

you can get ring terminals either here (for uber cheap) or hard ware stores for like 4$ ea.

id do the battery and upgrade big three wires IMO

as far as fuse.. in mine i did either a 250a or 300a.. i think 250? 250 should be fine

Before you start putting money into a 2nd battery, or the big 3.. you need to get 1/0.

There is a thread right now where a buddy of mine is selling 1/0 or 1ga welding wire for cheap, or you can find some other 1/0 for a good price.

THEN worry about Big 3 & 2nd battery.

Before you start putting money into a 2nd battery, or the big 3.. you need to get 1/0.

I disagree. Looks like you're trying to tell him to get a 2nd battery or do Big 3 before upgrading to larger gauge wire.
