Ok so basically I need to find an amp with a high wattage at 2 ohms?

Correct. RMS not peak.

You need to find a 2 ohm or even a 1 ohm stable amp at the watts that you want to run.

hi all!! i need a few opinions pls. I have 2 12" 200W RMS subs , and i need a amp. but not sure what to choose, i was thinking to get Kenwood eXcelon X1200M, what do u guys think, i will have enough power for my subs?? THX

Hifonics is gonna get you close but the 2 ohm thing is gonna kill you for the $300. 1 ohm wouldn't be so bad, but 2 is not as easy.

Hey i think i've found a pretty good amp for the price and it has a 1 year warranty check this out and see what you think.

If those are legit rating then that would work. I've never heard of that company though.

Note the fusing on that amp. 150A fusing is usually good for around 1500 watts based on the rule of thumb. I would guess that thing is severely overrated.
