Help with amp selection

no use a mono block they are made for bass.that kicker will be too much power at 2 ohms for the w 0 woofers .look at an amp that will do 1000 watts rms at 1 ohm so it will do 500 at 2 ohms

also a budget would help so that we can recommend an amp for you

 
He has 2 of those woofers. They'll take 1k between the two of them.. Unless he means he wants to send a total of 500 to both..? You don't need a Left and Right channel for your substage. You'll want them both playing equally.

 
Ur subs are single 4 ohm so you can only wire to a 2ohm load.. So u need an amp that will do a min of 500@2ohm... If on a budget the AP mylows is selling would do well. Ur subs are 500max not 500rms.

Yeah, put the probes on the power wire and ground wire of the amplifier. Multimeter on DC. Do not put it on the wires that go to your speakers. M

That is correct. I like these as they are twisted pair and the RCA ends are thick and grip quite nicely...
