Help with amp selection

i just bought 2 jl audio 15w0v3's that i want to run at 500 w, they are 4ohm, can anybody lead me in the right direction?

what would be the difference between that and a 2 channel amp, would it be more beneficial using a 2 channel amp on 2 subs? sorry for the stupid questions i'm new to this stuff.

no use a mono block they are made for bass.that kicker will be too much power at 2 ohms for the w 0 woofers .look at an amp that will do 1000 watts rms at 1 ohm so it will do 500 at 2 ohms

also a budget would help so that we can recommend an amp for you

He has 2 of those woofers. They'll take 1k between the two of them.. Unless he means he wants to send a total of 500 to both..? You don't need a Left and Right channel for your substage. You'll want them both playing equally.

im looking to send a total of 1,000 watts, 500 to each woofer, they can only be at 4ohm. i don't really want to spend more than 250.

Dude.. He has two SVC 4-Ohm woofers. He can only wire down to 2-Ohms.. He needs to make the power at 2-Ohms, not 1.

JL Audio 15W0v3 Subwoofers - Car Audio Subwoofers the power rating is 500 max each speaker.i'd do 500 rms ,so my amp will work fine 1000 watts rms is too much for them my audiopipe amp is 500 rms at 2 ohms and 1000 at 1 ohm 120 shipped 2 months old

Ur subs are single 4 ohm so you can only wire to a 2ohm load.. So u need an amp that will do a min of 500@2ohm... If on a budget the AP mylows is selling would do well. Ur subs are 500max not 500rms.

Ok ur subs are single 4ohm correct? They are rated for 500max 250rms. If they are single 4's then u need an amp that will do 500watts rms@ 2ohms...
