Help with amp selection!

I have a 95 miata I am upgrading the system in. I have recently bought some mb quart 6.5 components for the doors. However my deck pioneer (deh3700mp?) is the only thing powering the speakers for now. They sound ok at lower volumes but become distorted due to lack of power. I am looking at adding subs to my system at a later date.

Heres my question how much power due I need for the components to sound there best. Also do I want a 2 channel amp for my components and then an additional amp for the subs Or would I be better off with a 4 channel amp for the whole thing. On the miata forums I keep getting reccomendations for soundstream amps. Any suggetions for my setup. Please list specific models for me if you can.

What is the RMS rating of your component speakers?

What type of subwoofer(s) do you plan on getting? Most 4 channels dont put out that much power when bridged (there are a few that do) so it can limit your subwoofer choices.

What type of music do you listen to? Do you want the subwoofer to be shaking the entire car or just something to add to the low end? Miatas are well balanced so im thinking maybe a 10".

Here is the subwoofer route that I want to take evntually it involves the use of 8" free iar subs. I am not sure how much power they will need.

These are the mb quarts that I just got they are rated at 50 rms I believe.

I listen to a lot of differrent kinds of music. Mainly classic rock , country, some hip hop but nothing too extremely bassy. I just want to round out the sound a little I am not looking at having the whole neigborhood hear my bass from blocks away.

Keep in mind that this miata has front door speakers(mb quarts) but no rears . Currently the readrest speakers are attached to rear wiring of the deck. However they **** at any level of volume and I plane doing away with them altogether.

Ok today I picked up rockford fosgate 250.2 . Bestbuy was blowing these out got it for 119.99. Installed it and wow what a huge differrence.
