Help with a system!!!

Ok my friend has

2 "Sony Xplod P5" 12" in a ported enclosure

"Power Acousik Gothic 1600watt amp" putting 310watts rms into each at (4ohm)

He seems to get a pulse noise through the subs. We turn on the deck then the amp light clicks on, then we put a cd in and all is good but then when we change the cd and it loads we get a pulse through the subs. I have tried everything! What could be causing this??? I'm getting sick of helping him!!

It could be that the wire is run too close to a main power wire in the vehicle or somethin like that. Maybe try to re route the wires to the amp.

Umm are all the speakers getting a humming noise? or the subs? cause well RCA cables are a big factor .. then like supra said could be a power wire causing interference...

No the RCA's are away from the power and ground cables. The gain isn't up to much we tried turning it down. A pulse is like the subs hit then stop.

Like I said thats not the issue. We have already tried seperating them.

then it has to do with the rca cable maybe try a new cable

ummm have you guys tried another amp... to see if the problem persists... I usually switch out a few things with a friend and try to back track the problem.. and eliminate the subs then the amps and then try the reciever... if the component speakers arent humming then you know its gotta do with wiring for sub... but if everything is humming i would say its a wiring/reciever problem.. Back tracking is a good thing...
