I usually  switch out a few things with a friend and try to back track the problem.. and eliminate the subs  then the amps and then try the reciever... if the component speakers arent humming then you know its gotta do with wiring for sub... but if everything is humming i would say its a wiring/reciever problem.. Back tracking is a good thing...</p></blockquote><p></p>
