help with a sub

looking for a sub that would be good with tight, punchy accurate bass.. not just SPL but SQ, i listen to lots of metal and with the double bass, i need something clear.. right now im pretty set on an Alpine type R 12"... any other suggestions? price range is under 200

looking at this now... anyone know anything abuot it?

dont know about the new premier, but i still have two older premiers an they were great. They were great SQ but didn't get as low as other i've heard, but I don't know if thats true about the new ones also

that sub is 1000w rms, my amp is 800 w rms ..... so would it be not enough to power that thing?
