help with a design

alright

ive got 2 re audio sr12's and im about to get a sundown 1500 and run it a 2 ohms.

the subs are sealed right now and arent loud enough or have enough low endvfor me so im gonna build a ported box.

Re says that the optimal box is 1.5 at 35hz but i really wana get as much low end outa these as i can. I was thinking about tuning in the high 20's.

Max external dimensions are 38x13.5x20 (WxHxD). Would like to keep the depth as shallow as i can so that i can keep some trunk space. I also have questions about whether to do a single chamber with one port or a dual chamber with a port for each sub.

a design or advice would be amazing. Thanks guys

You have plenty of room to work with. Check out aeroports as well -- usually can save space and port area with them as well as have the option of changing the tuning whenever needed.

only thing is ive read multiple places that that calculator is off on its tuning? so im more interested in someone helping me with single chamber or dual and port length heighth width or if they suggest aeros, what size and length?

ive got a few friends that have aeros in their boxes and they just dont seem to bump like slotted ports...I kno that if done rite they can get loud but ive nvr liked aeros at all

thank you i was thinking about doing slot after all and doing about 36 square inches of port for a 3 cube box.

stupid question but when re audio says that they recommend 1.5 cubes, is that after all displacements or before displacements
