help with A/B amps working verse D amps not working.

Yes, not saying the topology, curious if the class d is more susceptible to electrical "noise" or dirty power vs an AB. Any idea what to look into? The only thing I haven't changed is the power in the vehicle. Everything else has been tried another way.
No. You're just getting bad amps.

I understand, but i was just indicating that it maybe due to voltage drop.
My response was made under the assumption the OP does not have his system powered on and cranked up to high volume when plugging in the RCAs. Adding the RCAs should not cause a voltage drop on an otherwise normally operating amplifier that has been tested in a different vehicle. If the situation has been described correctly, I would troubleshoot this by plugging in a 3.5 mm to RCA aux cable with my phone as an audio source.

OK. Re-reading your post of what works and does not. If your amps are going straight into protect but they work in other vehicles you're doing something terribly wrong. If it were me, I'd go right to verify the source unit and double check every piece of wire, every speaker, and every connection.

In what scenario have you actually verified all the problem amps work?

Post a picture of the power & remote terminals of the amp. Also post a pic of where the amp ground connecters to the car chassis.

Have you measured voltage at the amp
