Help with 91 DeVille

Go outside and pop the hood.

Look around up against the firewall for a rubber/plastic plug and when you find it,pull it out. This is a factory hole so you don't have to drill one.

To get the wire into the trunk you'll need to lift the back seat a bit (not remove it but try and lift a bit.Snake your wires into the trunk.

I have a 91 deville and I am yet to find a grommet on the battery side. I took off the maxi fuse center cover(the plastic cover) and i drilled a hole. If you go high enoughm there is nothing but foam you can run into. As for the trunk, theres is a small crack on the bottom of the metal plate you can slide it through. Hard to explain, but easy to do. What size wire are you looking to run?

i found a good spot on he right side near the battery. I am using 0 gage wire so it was job getting it in there. Getting it to the trunk ws alot easier than expected.

I have a couple ther questions if you can help. Where should I put the groud wire? I have about 80square feet of damplifier Pro in the trunk so my places are limited. There is a bolt I was thinking about using. It is on top of wat Ibeleive to be the shock casng. Wold thi be a good spot or should I look else where?

Also do I need to upgrade the big 3 wires? From what I was told the stock wires are four gauge. I think the alternator is rated at 160 amps.

I'm also thinking about getting a HO Alternator. How big of one should I get? I will be running 3400 rms to 3 15's ad 200 rms to my other speakers. I saw one that was rated at 300 amps that looked good but if I don't need it then I won't get it.

Thanks again for the help.. Joe
