help with 81chevy c10

ive got a 81 chevy custom deluxe/ c10...my brother owned it before me and he cut the factory harness off and i dont know if he has all the wires...i need to know how many wires and the wiring diagram and i need to know if i need to get anything else for it...any help will be appreciated

Take a DMM(digtal mutimeter) or a 12volt bulb with a wire soldered to the +and -,

grab a suspected power wire and switch the ignition to the acc position.

Once you have the wire that turns on with the ignition you need to find a constant power wire, an 81 chevy truck most likely doesn't have one so splice a wire into the cigarette lighter + which is live at all times (for the HU memory)

Now that you have switched and constant power you need a ground, you could run a wire under the carpet and use one of the bolts holdin the seat down or a metal part of the dash.

Now just run some speaker wire and your done.
