help wiring head unit plzzzz asap

well ive got the 12v, ignition wire and ground all done and matched and now im doing the speakers but on this alpine cda-7977. how can i take normal wires and wire them to those rca like jacks. i stripped the wire a lil down but all it is, is a red wire with a coat of metal strands.

turns out that this head unit doesnt have an internal amplifier so i have to get an amp for hear speakers and hook it up that way..correct me if im wrong

Well, if your deck doesn't have an internal amp, then you must buy an external amp to power your speakers. A lot of high end head units do not have deck power because most people that buy high end decks plan to power the speakers with external amplifiers.

To answer your question, you have to connect an amp to the pre-amp outputs, not your speaker wires.
