I've looked up a TON of tutorials on how to do this but I keep running into a problem. In all these tutorials the amps that are used are able to have a fuse plugged directly into the amp. I have a Rockford Punch 600x4, and It does not allow that feature. If I buy a PSU that has a fuse in it, would that bypass not having a fuse for my amp? Or must I use an amp that does have the fuse plug in feature.

Why not buy an appropriate home receiver?

I have done this in my teen years. Simple solution is buy a power supply. Then go from there.
