I have an hifonics 1700 watt amp i wired it like the diagram on the bottom and im not getting the bass i am looking for...

its not that powerfull do i need to bridge or something? I am completely lost and i though i would get some good loud bass like this.

Can someone please reply to this please?

Do i need to wire it at 1ohm?

Btw the subs are dual 2ohm i think i wired it to 2ohm correctly but it doesnt feel right.

If you put both positives together and both negatives together on a Dual 2 ohm woofer, its final impedence will be 1 ohm. If you wire both woofers in series the load will be .5 ohm. Now if you do positive to negative on both subwoofers the final load for each woofer will be 4 ohm. Then wired in series the final load to your amp will be 2 ohm. I think.

I would suggest that you double check your wiring first to make sure the woofers are in phase. It can be an easy simple mistake that I have seen many customers make.

What voice coil config. do you have? If it is Dual 2 for both subwoofers.

This is the lowest you can go to be STABLE with that amp

what size (cu ft) is it per sub and whats it tuned to. the biggest issue is you got dual 2 ohm subs when you need dual 4 to get the the final ohm load to get all that your amp has to offer.

all amps have a gain. look up how to set it correctly, do so, then report back. the box could also be holding you back a whole lot
