[HELP] Will it take them out?

OK so as you can probably see in my sig, I currently have 2 JBL GT412's (250 RMS, 1000 peak) along with a Rockford Fosgate T3002 amp. It is stated at 300W but is highly underrated and really pushes around 800-1000 (go to http://www.cardomain.com/item/ROCT3002, and look at the 7th image and the reviews.)

the amp isnt installed yet, but my bud at my local sound shop says it could take out my subs. Would it work to run it as stereo? Or whatelse could I do that will keep my subs safe?

lol well even if it is underrated, it will never make 1000 watts- and if you can read you would read the fact that the "7th image" is a birthsheet for a bd1001, which WILL do 1000+

if you have the amp- what does your birthsheet say @ what Ohms??

just looked at the specs of your amp, and you might want to get a bigger mono channel, cuz even if it is underrated, it says its only doin 200x1@4 ohm, which really isnt shit. Your subs would enjoy a nice 500-600 watt amp.

PS- anyone who reviews stuff like that on cardomain is a lying ****(USUALLY)

your local car shop doesnt know what they are talking about, just hook it up accordingly, and you shall be fine

if you looka t the 7th picture...its a fricken sample...the model # isn't even the same.

thanks i didnt notice that picture was wrong. shit i feel so stupid now. oh well. so would it be fine to just run it accordingly like blackbonnie said?
