help what size wire do i need.

hey guys i need to buy wire but not sure what size wire i need.

1-from crossover to tweet

2- from crossover to midbass

3- from amp to crossover

4- from amp to sub

5- sub connections

6-remote turn on to amp

thanks guys, i know what size i need for power since it says it on the amp. i think its 4 guage. so i just use 4 gauge for ground right?

Pretty much all the wiring going to the crossovers and speakers from there can be 16ga. Subs can be 16ga as well though if you are running a lot of power I would suggest going bigger. Since there isn't much of it, 12ga is typical. For the remote wire anything will work 18ga is what is sold for the purpose but you can use whatever, it doesn't carry much of anything in the way of current so size isn't important.

Are you using a single amp? If so you can run a single 4ga from the battery to the amp. Make sure that you fuse that wire in the engine compartment as close to the battery as possible. Your ground should be the same size as the power wire.

no actually two amps

so should i run two 4 ga for the amps or run a o ga to a distro then seperate 4ga

i say run 1/0ga. if you plan to go bigger in the future, your wiring will be in place.
