HELP What size fuses?

Im running 1/0 gauge wire back to a fused distro into 2 4gauges to my orion 1200s. What size fuse should i put in the distros and inline up by that batt? Thanks, need answers fast, im ording right now through knukonceptz.

fuse by the battery...you add ALL the amps fuse ratings thats gonna be hooked onto that power wire thats running to the battery.

so if your running say a sub amp (120A) and a speaker amp (40A)...look into a 160A fuse by the battery.

however, i heard of fusing by the size of your wire as well. and for 1/0ga, i THINK its no lesser than 200A and no higher than 300A ? someone correct me if im wrong.

so if i got 2 orions 1200 runnin with 120 amp worth of fuses total for each one, then i will need a 240 amp fuse by the battery and 2 120 amp fuses in the distro block?

That would work, but anything close would be ok too. 200/100/100 would get it done.
