Help w/ Remote relay wiring for multiple amps

I am in the process of wiring 4 PDX amps to a relay switched by my remote switch from my Alpine head unit.

I am having trouble wiring the SPDT relay.

Does anyone have a good diagram for wiring these?

I have it this way now:

87 - to 12v supply

86 - to the remote trigger from the head unit

85 - to Ground

30 - to remote switches on the amps.

87a - not used.

I have checked and my remote from the head unit has 12v when the head unit is on but I can't get it to switch the amps on.

Any help would be appreciated.

actually, that wiring looks wrong. 30 should be the common so that should be hooked up to the 12 volt supply, and the 87 will be your output going to the amps.

Will still work the way he has it.

As others have said check that you are on the remote wire and see if the relay is actually changing states when power is applied to coil.
