HELP:voltage drop

yea from 2:20-2:30 it usually does but yea hopefully after i do big 3 my voltage will go up if not i will redo all my connections and solder them up and see where its at then, if still not where i want it then i am gonna get a big batt for upfront

 
It does it to me on and off all day. And its only this website. It changes sometimes in less than 30sec and comes back.

I'm sure your voltage will go up with the big 3. From what I understand you should use the same kind of batteries. aka not mix lead acid with drycell. That could also be part of the problem. that why I'm going all kinetic 2400 batts front and back (some day when I'm not broke)

 
yea i hear many people saying big 3 can make their voltage increase anywhere from .5 to a whole volt so i am hoping i can just get a half volt increase at the amp if possible even be happy to stay at 12 all the time and never dip below 12 but would rather see it at 12.5 and if i can get my front battery to around 13.5-13.7 after big 3 then that should put my back battery based on my volts now around 12.9-13.2 or so and maybe the amp around 12.5-12.7 i will be happy with that

and yea i want to get another stinger upfront so i have both dry cells but they both rest at 12.7 so they arent draining off one another its just harder on the front battery to keep up i think and thats making the back battery work harder which is why my voltage may be low, not sure just an idea

 
The front battery isn't able to keep up with the back battery because dry cells are able to transfer more amps at higher voltages easier than lead acid batteries. So your floating voltage will be higher on the front bat if they matched.

 
ok i have a z1500 and a zx850.4 only using 2 of the channels used dmm to set gains so roughly 1850rms or so, for my electrical i have a stock 130amp alt, gold duralast 1000amp battery upfront,stinger spv70 in the rear with a run of 1/0 for pos and neg, i dont have big 3 done only have one of the grounds just the battery to chassis.
at front battery on full tilt at idle its around 13.2volts, back battery is around 12.5-12.7 and at the amp which is only about a 2ft run if that is around 12volts sometimes dips down into high 11's on the zx1500

why am i seeing such a huge drop from back battery to amp for wiring i have kicker 1/0 ground and knu 1/0 pos from front to back, and to the amps its kicker 1/0, i am getting no dimming either so i dont understand this
it's cause ur a true retard.. i could only imagine what ur install look's like...

just make sure everything is tight and grounded properly, allso even tho you have a + & - run of 1/0 ga wire from the front to the rear batt, allso try grounding the rear batt in the trunk ( or wherever it's at in ur car ) make sure it's a good ground..

get the big three done, and you should see some result's.

 
yeah get your big 3 done, and seth is right, ground your back battery to the chassis, and use 1/0 from the engine block to frame up front and from the negative on the battery up front to the chassis. then 1/0 from the alt to the positive of the battery up front, from the positive of front battery to the possitive of back battery and from the positive of back battery to amps. also, be sure to ground your amps to the frame or chassis and not to the battery in back, i don't remember why but someone explained it one time and it made sense..
