HELP: USPS Insured Bad Shipping-Damage

Hey,

The seller shipped this packed and it is insured. It was sent USPS. Never have I had to claim damage with the carrier. can someone walk me through what to expect and how to proceed?

I assume contact the seller and they tell the carrier? Will they replace the entire , replace only the damaged parts, pay to have it tested, or just send money?

any help would be GREAT.

One look at the package when it arrived, I grabbed my camera.. and documented as I opened. mostly the end caps are crushed, the amps mounting feet are also bent. Im uncertain of internal damage if any?

contact the seller, they file claims.

you have to call ups and you can start the claim, but its up to the seller after that since they are the one that paid for the packaged to be mailed, so they have to do all of the stuff

that sux too i just had my w7 messed up by ups

If the amp works fine, it's probably not worth the hassle to file a claim over some end caps...................

I'd say anytime there's that much force that can cause the external metal to bend and shatter the way that it has, raises a serious question as to the possible damage caused on the inside. May not be immediate noticable issues, but whos to say the affects in the long term. FILE THE CLAIM!

Feet are bent VERY easily, and the end caps I'm 90% sure are just plastic.

for them to actually drop that package off to you had to take some balls...

that is some bullshit...maybe if enough people filed claims they would take better care of peoples shit...

file it! it might be a hassle, but **** that box is ****ed
