help tuning Hifonics BXi1606D

there were a few gains on that BXi1606D that i never seen before.. i havent played around with any high class amps tho so a few i was confused. right now is what i did is turned the music up to listing level and then i tuned the amp to where the subs sound the best.. they hit extremly hard and loud without any signs of distortion or problems. but i turned them down a little just to be safe until i figure out the best way to tune that amp..

 
i have the same amp

i did the same thing

worked fine for me for over a year untill today it probably fried out, havent had a chance to check it yet but ill let you know

I may have missed it, but do you have sound deadener on the doors? If not that could be why you're lacking midbass.

Do you intend to drive around playing test tones? If your intention is to play music, you should be using music you intend to play to dial in...
