Help the newbie.......

Hi guys, I've been out of car stereo for about 10 years and upon returning I am finding that NOTHING is the same. So after doing some research I can honestly say I am completely confused.

I have a 2000 Grand Prix and the door speakers are only 5 1/4" and not the 6.5". So I am looking for some recommendations on a good set of 5 1/4", before I realized that they were not 6" speakers I was looking at the hertz 165's.

Also I have not decided on what amp I am going to buy yet, so I am not concerned too much on matching the rms to my amp, I would rather have kick *** components and then get the amp to power them!

One more thing, i would rather not get into buying kick panels or boring out the holes in my door.

use a baffle for your front doors to make them 6.5's and look at image dynamics they are sexy comps

If you arent comfortable with baffles or cutting, just do the hsk130s. They are almost the same price and are still very nice!
