Help the newb with some stuff

Ok i will be getting a 4ohm DVC sub.

Amp i have is a Alpine MRV1507

Is the Alpine 2 ohm stable?

how would you wire it?

Each coil to a seperate channel?

Trying bridging it somehow, which i dont know how.

Suggestions please!

If possible you should get a dual 2 or single 4

2ohm stereo stable 4ohm mono stable

If you got a dual 4:

and wire 1 VC per channel

Dual 2:

( bottom one)

yeah just hook up each vc to each channel if you have no other options

yea i guess the only downside to wiring each VC to a channel is lower wattage than the way i had it bridged with a SVC sub

Not really, you wont notice a difference in 50W

really i thought it would be more than that..

so i will get a fine quailty if i just wire each Vc to a differenet channel?

Yes, i suggest you use a Y adaptor so each channel is getting the same signal.

Well if i bridge it and do a 2 ohm load to the amp i guess ill figure out quick if it can take it.

maybe lower the gains when you do that . it might go into protection as well maybe
