Help sa-10

I just bought a set of sundown sa10s and a planet audio 2600w amp. I plan on putting them in a single cab 2010 ford. My problem is I'm not sure witch box to go with, ported or sealed, and on how to build either. Weather to use mdf or plywood.

Ported. Use 3/4" mdf. For the face double baffle it so it's an inch and a half. I'd give the SA 10's around 1.5 cubes a piece tuned around 34 (after displacement).

Don't use plywood and don't run Sundown SA's sealed.

Another option is birch. It's lighter than MDF but more expensive.

Get someone on here to design u a box @Buck; designs all mine..great guy great prices...he will help u figure out what u need depending on ur listening habits and whatnot

Yea use mdf or birch if u can afford it birch is much lighter..i love using arauco but it isnt available everywhere

Pro-rabbit is my box guy and he's pretty close to the OP right there in OKC. I know he's been pretty busy lately so I don't know how long it would take. And as

I just sent buck a message. I can get either wood pretty cheap. Just didn't know whitch one would be better.

Mdf is a pita to me its heavy pourus and splits easy if u dont predrill everything..spend the few extra bucks and go with birch or arauco if u can find it in ur area
