help removing gps tracking chip

i have been told that by messing with it it will shut the car off, i dont really care if it does or not and i will prob not even do it because im sueing the shit out of these guys but the qustion came up and now i want to know so i can say i know. im under the impression that i can just bypass it with some jumper wire and pull the sencer with the car running. anyway i will take all feedback and whould love to hear from somone that has removed one before(the guys that installed it all got fired from mcdonalds before they opened there car audio shop, so i know its got to be easey as hell these guys have no idea what there doing)

k so you want the story then i take it, my wife bought a car that is a piece of shit. same day i try to fix it all for her get her a car that was atleast worth the money they laughed at me and said it was mine so i was going to just say **** them and make up the value of the car on ebay for used parts. keeping the gps tracking chip hooked up to a old bat i have sitting here, and they can pick it up when ever they wanted too. i am sueing for 5 times the value of the car at this point and am not going to mess around with it atall but the qustion still comes up, can i place a jumper wire across the harness to its leads pull the chip and rerun the wire as is without harm.

i dont have to worry or did you not read it, its a qustion i have. i dont need all you dumb ****s that know nothing about it post dumping. im getting five times the car's value and paying all my attourney's(keeping them happy for yet another year). the qustion came up trying to atleast make sure she recouped as much of her money as posible, now that is not necessary the qustion still bothers me and like i said i dont get to do it now or i can potentialy screw up everything and id just like to see if anyone knows the answer. thanks alot for all your help tho guys, you have all be extremely helpful.
