Help real quick about speaker wire

Is it fine to use 18 gauge speaker wire from box to amp? It is a aq hd3 and a cadence zrs-8(1500rms)

should be, worst thing you could do is burn up some wire

Ok thanks I will pick some up and fix it tomorrow I just have everything out and ready for the install but all I could find was 18 gauge in the building so figured I would ask if it would be fine.

I got 14gauge and it's fine for my "600" watts.
