help quick!pioneer amp troubles!!

im having trouble installing an amp!my cousin is going to give me 2 pioneer imp 12s for hooking up a small system in his car.ive already hooked up the hu but i cant get the amp to work.the amp is a pioneer model gm-44 i dont know how many watts it is or anything.it turns on but i dont hear any thing from the sub i have hooked up.whats the problem?

dont worry evry 1 i got it workin.the problem was the speaker!well i got 2 imps now ,much better than my PYLE of shits!
