2000 watt amp?

i need an amp for my pioneer ts-w3004spl subs, they are 1000 rms, i could either go with 2 amps or one amp, but im not sure on what to use, i need somethig that will help me push into 150db range, my budget is around 400 bucks total. thanks

At what ohm load do you need the power?

Only things I can think of that will do that power for under $400 would be a Viper 2500. (2500 at 2 ohms). Have to get one used, Ikesound doesnt have anymore.

Or a modded MTX should work also. Last thing I can think of (not sure if its under $400, might be little more) is one of the new sonicfx amps. PM nikosbuddy about them.

what about two ed nine.2's. with the two strapped they claim it is over 2500 watts. set the gains right and if you ever want to build on your system you can.

Most of the complaints on the Hifonics amps seem to be related to the Brutus line.

The XX Line will do the 2000+ watts at 13.8volts. THe only complaints about Hifonics was about the Brutus line.

lanzar wont put rated power, for $530 get that XX Hercules, u wont be happier.

alright, well if u have anything else u can recommend, i mean i am even willing to do two amps, i just needs something to do 2000 watts at 1 ohm, or if i do a dual amp it will have to do around 1000 at 2 ohm
