Help Question Sub Amp

So I did a Client Install today...Ran all the wires etc etc, So the amp only turns on when its the radio, but right when I go to Cd the amp turns off?? Its Kenwood HU...Any Idea's Why this happens?

c'mon man give me something a little more difficult. you hooked up the remote to the power antenna wire on the headunit instead of the remote turn on wire.

i should charge you for this.

Well one of my team memebers wired the harness I just wired every thing else so I will have to check that..

Uh, am I the only one who finds it scary that chase007 is installing equipment for others with the dumbass questions that he himself always asks?

Of course, I am NEVER going to let him live down the Sundown amp that he said was DOA, only to have Sundown play a video of his amp rocking some subs. Lastly, I'll digress and just say that chase007 has NO BUSINESS installing ANYTHING for ANYONE!

Well I got it fixed a member missed the second remote wire and btw...Grinder1989 sold me a broken Headunit and the rca's didn't work is why the amp wasn't working....And I don't care what you think....Your just a hater

the 'team member' should not be installing either if he can't determine which is a remote and which is for a power antenna. hell, they even have wiring diagrams on head units telling you which wire is which.

Heh, i remember when i was 13 years old like you chase. I thought it was cool to take pics of my computer with the UV light on, showing my UV reactive round IDE cables.

But ive done that same thing before, companies are different between which wire is the remote and which is the p. ant. Ive seen sonys have 2 blue wires with no differentiation, so if someone loses the little tag your screwed and have to get out the DMM. I think alpines are backwards too, IIRC. I dont install too many alpines though

That is a not a second remote wire on the kenwood.

If the rcas were broken it would have never worked.

I just can't get over the fact that you allegedly build computers yet you can't troubleshoot your way out of a wet paper bag when it comes to car audio.

Putting a computer together is actually alot simpler than dealing with car audio, thus his simple mind cant comprehend it.

yeah on a computer everything can only go together 1 way and all the connectors are keyed lolz. a blind monkey can put 1 together.

it is so easy I bought a barebones and the rest of the components for my son last year ( he was 10 then ) and told him if he wanted his own to build it himself. 2 days later he had a nice 3 gig amd with 2- 250 gig sata drives rocking the net lolz.
