HELP! Problem with subs/amps

Just hooked up my 2 brand new Hifonics BXi1206D's to my 12" Fi SSD's. The subs and amps have no problems at all. The amps aren't in protection mode and the subs have no damage to them. I've checked a million times whether I had the positive and negatives mixed up, and I've also switched the RCA's from left to right and right to left on the input. The amps are turning on, and the subs feel like they are getting some sort of power (you can feel them hitting ever so slightly). What could be messed up? Can't seem to find the problem //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

Daisy chained meaning strapped? They are being ran separately. The amps are turning on, I just don't know why the subs aren't getting the right power. Checked how they were wired a few times already.

I'd agree, but I'll have to hear mine first. lol Anyone else have any idea? This is friggin weird.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blackeye.gif.66a1670f5aaf7f406e783a63e3387dc5.gif

Oops, forgot to post this on my name. This was being installed in Daishi's mazda 6. After we finally got everything installed (before we figured out we had this problem) the car wouldnt even start. lol ends up the battery died, and the kinetik 1400 he had sittin there wouldnt even fit in the battery tray with the hood closed. So we kept having to jump the car to turn it on and check the system. Still can't figure out whats wrong. We even wired it straight from the amp to the sub, free-air, and it just didn't play. (I did this because we didn't make the box, and i just wanted to make sure it wasn't a problem with the box's wiring) So anyone have any ideas??

if your useing 2 subs and they are out of phase with each other they will cancell each other out completely = zero bass....check phase.

he;s running each sub off of each amp... I think they'd both move even if they were out of phase... not sure on that though

They aren't wired to 8 ohms. This isn't the first time we've installed our own stuff. Plus since I felt like a dumbass, I checked it about 10 times online on jl audio's tutorial section on their website. It's definitely getting signal, because the sub is hitting, its just really really weak. As I said, the gain is up to 2/3. Nothing is wrong with the subs. Maybe the signal is weak for some reason? I dunno, I'm out of ideas.

Yeah i just checked everything this morning the rcas are hooked up properly to the out on the head unit and the rca in on the amp. the sub is wired to 1 ohm according to the jl audio tutorial the sub is getting some power cuz it does hit VERY slightly its almost as if the positive and negatives are switched but they arent.. that was checked a million times. amps are getting power they arent in protect mode. at this point im just trying to get 1 sub working the other amp isnt even hooked up rite now. I did get a new battery and the car is fine now i just have to get the system working...

if you are feeling this very slight hit with yuor fingers, its probably not even the sub, jsut the feel of soundwaves hitting the surface of the sub and tranferring vibration. use a dmm and check the output voltage of the RCA wires
