HELP! Problem with subs/amps

Did you check the sub level on the head unit (if there is one) and any crossovers, perhaps on the amp or the head unit?

Have you connected the correct set of rca's to the amp (ie the sub rca's from the headunit)?

This does not seem to be a problem with phase. If your subs were just out of phase they would move as much as normal, they would just not be a loud to your ear.

well when i unplug the rcas from the amp the sub stops hitting at all. i plug em back in and it starts hitting slightly again.. so i dont think its the rcas i dont know what else it could be this is brand new 16 gauge speaker wire...

yes the rcas are connected to the subwoofer out on it. and connected to the RCA IN on the amp. the level is set to about 2/3's rite now and adjusting the sub level on the headunit does nothing

They are working now!!! dunno how but like i redid all the wiring and they are both working now um.. yeah lol thing is my pioneer only has 1 mono out. the others are stereo.. now how would i convert the stereo to mono the hifonics amp manual says to use a y splitter on the stereo and it will be mono? is this correct?
