For the record, my car is not onstar, and the only AFTERMARKET harness I could get was with onstar, I couldn't find one without it, so instead of paying the conventional 30$ for a regular wiring harness, I had to pay like 130$ for the one with onstar. Come to find out thy didnt make on without onstar for my car. FMLmost of those are for adding an aftermarket sources by plugging into the harness I need. & the replacement harnesses it is showing are for onstar vehicles, this truck is non-onstar.

Trying to reinstall the factory RDS h/u in my dads truck & the previous owner cut the harness. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/suicide.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif
They kept the RDS h/u but tossed the harness plug. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/suicide.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif:suicide:
All I need is the harness plug with enough wire left on it to solder it to the mess that is this trucks dash.
I've checked salvage yards with no luck, somebody on here has to know of somewhere I can pick one up.....new or used, price isn't an issue.
Thanks in advance,
Jacob
He wants the factory h/u. I would argue that the factory speakers sound better off the RDS unit than they would from an aftermarket cd player. Plus, single din aftermarket units look hideous in a double din opening, especially Silverados.Id just get a nice aftermarket radio...better features and SQ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
