Hey I'm kinda new to this, but i want to get a headunit that will work with

2 12" Type R Alpines

(or if you know any better ones that will make the block shake)

I dont want to buy a amp yet because I dont have the money, I know the good deals, just don't know what will run on what.

So if you can tell me the Kenwood/Alpine headunits that are compatible with those subs and will work with them without an amp, just say so.

Headunits I am looking at

Kenwood KDC-322

Kenwood KDC-3022

Kenwood KDC-4022

Pioneer DEH-P5500MP

I posted this in head units but I kinda need fast help, hopefully people can help me here.

You cant run subs off of a head unit alone with no amp.

When building a system and purchasing products always keep expansion and upgrades in mind. The most important thing to me is the hu. Get a nice hu with 3 pre amp outputs and nice eq and fader controls, Then go from there. If you are persistant in getting 2 12" alpines but dont have the all the $$$ to get a nice big that you want for them and decide to settle for a smaller one, then get somthing like a decent 4 channel and bridge it down so in the future when you finally have the $$$ to get the monster sub amp you can use the 4 channel on the mids and highs.
