HELP---Port and Sub firing in HT setup

Im making a HT enclosure tomorrow and need some help with it. Im using my 15" RE for the sub and i need help on which is the best way to fire the sub and port in a HT setup. The sub downfiring with 2 4" precision ports firing back(towards wall)? Sub firing into the room and port firing up towards the roof? any help is appreciated.thanks

how about down firing and the ports out one side. what tuning are you after? i am going to be using a 12" rl-p for ht use.

its going in the corner of my room. Im thinking bout 4.5 @24hz with 2 4" ports.

thats something that is different from room to room.

but whether it sounds better with port facing the corner or with the port firing along side parallel to the wall is something that you are going to have to play with.

I have heard good things from downward firing ports and forward firing subs, they need to have tall legs though.
