help plz

2 dvc's at 4 ohms? why? you could do better with a smaller amp if you wired at 2ohms. Just make sure the amp is 2 ohm stable most are.

what the hell are you talking about? he can wire the pair for 1 ohm and have a whole plethora of amps that can do power at 1 ohm, or a 2-channel that can be bridged and wired at 4 ohms

well 1 ohm is of course better than 2 ohm as is 2 ohm better than 4. But why would you wire 2 dvc speakers at 4ohm? Please explain. Two channel amps are usually a/b and its my understanding these are less efficent than a monoblock that would pull a 1ohm or 2ohm load. So I was implying that he would be better using his money to buy a small mono amp that would pull the rms he needed at 2ohm if not 1 ohm. Please correct me if Im wrong. so how would u wire 2 DVC 4 ohm speakers to 2 ohms??? cuz i got that and its at 4 ohms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

go to the wiring forum at look at the sticky for configurations it has all kinds of info I must admit though I might have been wrong in my first post you had better go with a 1 ohm load.

idk what you people are talking about, but no ohm load is better then the other. it's just a matter how it matches up with your amp. most 2-channel amps are only stable to 4 ohms bridged so that is why you'd wire it to 4 ohms if you were using a bridged 2-channel

Can you sell the LOC and buy a head unit for that price that will do all of what both of those things would do?

Yes. I do not fully understand the question, but if the manufacturer suggests such a big port, it is probably because it has a high QTS. If it...
