Also without any measurements nobody can help to be honest.....and this is posted in the wrong forum too. Not trying to be a **** but getting to you before others do.

a friend of mine he builds boxes but i dont wanna be trying ports all day and wanted to get some ideas or close idea on what port to be looking for to obtain those loowww notes

here are the box specs
this are the box specs

49 lenght,38 wide, 22 deep

slot ported

this are the port measurements that i have 240sq in by 16" depth
You might want to go with 3 18s and an aeroport instead if you want those low notes. You wont get any low notes cramming 4 18s in a small box.

20 cubic feet subtract around 20% and you'll get your net usable cubic feet after accounting in port area (note this is not accounting in bracing yet which you will definitely need) and thats only enough airspace for 15s. You'll also want to go aero ported for efficiency's sake since you are short on cubic feet. You can make it adjustable too so you can get that perfect tuning. If i were you, i'd do 15s instead or 3 18s if you really want those low lows. What you are planning right now is a no no for the low lows.

What is your net volume after sub and port displacement ?

It sounds like it may be a bit small for the low frequency extension you are after.

Everyone, including the manufacturer has told you that's not enough space, do you think asking again and again is going to change the laws of physics?

By my math, you have just about 20 cube assuming you only do 1 layer of 3/4" wood on all sides which I'd highly advise against in such a large box, then you insist on whale-song tuning which will require something around 7-8 cubic feet of displacement just in your port. IMO you'd have done better buying 4 12's if that tuning and that space was your goal.

Or don't listen to us and just jam them all into your box, single wall, and skimp on port area and let us know how that pans out for you. Likely you'll only be out 125$ or so in materials and a day of work.
