I shopped around quite a bit...nobody can make a bigger alt. for my car...
Regardless guys... I have ran this same equip. in 3 different cars now... NEVER upgraded my alt in ANY of them except this one. Never had dimming the way I am now... And yes, I DID hold the RPM at about 2K RPM and the car like almost died because it was getting drained so bad...
This is why NONE of this makes any sence to me. The Block ground was done, I just didnt see it. SO, the Big 3is done.
Battery is an Audio Force (couldnt find specs) BUT when I bought it, the dealer showed me the book on it, and specs just said 1000CCA, Deep Cycle....Good enough for me..
Again, I have ran this system off of a stock 75A alt. w/ yellowtop under the hood and didnt have problems. Battery reads 14.2 at idle, so that tells me the batt is good. 12.9 out of the car
And again as mentioned earlier, BEFORE THE UPGRADE it worked better.. I'm just reallly pissed that I spent all this money, and after sitting on the couch for 2 weeks recoverying from surgery, I come back to this crap... Brought my car back to the shop, told them to do an ALT test, AND call the people across the street who rebuild the ALT so they could see the test... won't havemy car for another 4 days now
