HELP!! Pioneer AVH100DVD Changes Sources Randomly

First off new here. Anyway I got a pioneer avh100dvd for Christmas installed it in January and just 2 days ago it developed a problem. (Its installed in a 1997 Ford F150 with proper install kit and wiring adapters, i followed the wiring illustrations on both the radio's owners manual and the install kit manual.) The problem is after i change the volume or hit a slight bump it seems that the radio becomes haunted and changes sources constantly. the solution is turn the truck off fire it back up and hope the problem doesn't start again, which usually it does. Only thing i can think of is ground or something wiring related, that or a bad radio. when it does stop switching sources on its own it usually stops on USB mode which i don't use. Any pointers?
