Help picking out an amp for 0-300 watt class

I just looked on the usaci site and it does not have anything with the 0-300 watt stock classes anymore. Instead it was replaced by street beat. If its just some local show its now like it really matters anyways.

I'm going to go look and see. That must of just changed then because when I competed USACI still had it.

BTW, USACi still does have a 0-300 class just no more basic stock. You have to build to the super stock rules. Now just called stock.

2 Orion 275 HCCA would also work well...but they would be less power then the M1's.

The rating and classes are for what an amp does at 4 ohms

oh ok, because this is rated at 300 @ 2ohms but does closer to 700 @ 1 ohm i'm guessing

Thank you for pointing that out. The only problem now with running the DD M1's is hunting them down.

I was very impressed by my american bass 75.1 that i ran in stock 0-300 for a season. I placed in any show i went to and the amp was great. Only problem is it dosnt do much above 1 ohm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Very true...We used one for a little while in 0-300, but that was at .35 ohms.
